Job Description Cardiac Data Processing Specialist _ Chennai ICON plc is a world-leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization. The Cardiac Data Processing Specialist is responsible for data review, quality assurance, and data correction according to predefined study-specific specifications. Origins of data that may be included are recordings of clinical trial participants and pre-recorded test data. Source data types may vary according to the proprietary and off-the-shelf cardiac analysis software being used in each specific trial. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Review of cardiac data recording demographics against trial-specific data acquisition guides. - Receive, deliver, and process data and communicate to assigned Medical Operations. - Communicate data discrepancies to clinical trial sponsors and/or sites via Query Management System. - Correct data demographics according to site/sponsor query responses or make self-evident corrections as needed. - Investigate and report to the Manager, Incoming Data Processing the status of specific data and/or queries. - Uses the time reporting system, signing and reporting all exception time on a weekly basis. - Complete other administrative tasks, such as travel and expense reporting or similar, in a timely manner. - Performs responsibilities in a professional manner, meeting the Company's mission and goals. - What you need: - Associate degree or professional certification - 1-2 years of data coordinator/data entry, quality assurance, customer service or similar experience. - Experience within healthcare or clinical trials preferred.
