We are looking to expand our team with a UI Designer based in India This is a remote position Reporting to the Design Lead for the region this customer-facing role will focus on analysing UX UI requirements creating mock-ups of the user journey and using web design skills to implement the clients design on the INSTANDA platform to meet our clients needs While prior experience with the INSTANDA platform is not required exposure to the insurance industry is highly advantageous We are seeking a resourceful and creative individual with strong time management skills It is imperative that the candidate possesses excellent communication and problem-solving abilities and is a collaborative team player dedicated to delivering effective solutions for our clients Our clients often encounter technological and resource constraints leading to lengthy and costly launches of new insurance products and offerings However with INSTANDA insurers can build their products establish distribution networks test and launch their offerings in unprecedented timescalesxe2x80x94all without writing a single line of code The individual in this role will ensure our customers can launch usable modern responsive and streamlined user journeys This is an India based remote role What you will do Design insurance products for distribution on the INSTANDA platform training provided using exceptional HTML CSS and JavaScript skills This is the largest part of the role where you can show off your web design skills using a CMS-style platform Offer pre-sales support with preparing prospect demos and workshops if required Support design and discovery workshops with clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements design needs and pain points and align with platform capabilities Assist in designing proof-of-concept demonstrations during the elaboration phase to showcase potential solutions Effectively capture comprehend business and user needs and turn those into high fidelity mock-ups that show the user journey on the INSTANDA platform You will work closely with the client and your internal team to develop these and iterate on them Adopt a hands-on approach to troubleshooting Potential for travel to client destinations during design and discovery phases as well as during UAT and go-live activities when required by the client Requirements Proven of experience as a Web designer or UI Designer Experience in a client-facing role ideally within an IT delivery capacity Highly proficient in HTML CSS ideally LESS as well and JavaScript Proven ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proven ability to be organized and prioritize multiple tasks Proven ability to understand business requirements that capture clients key criteria and align them with commercial and technical considerations which is essential for success Proven ability to create high quality and high fidelity mock-ups ideally using Figma Strong UX and UI skills Strong conceptual analytical and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical and design concepts in clear everyday language Nice-to-Have Experience with Design Systems or libraries Experience with CSS frameworks ideally Bootstrap Experience with HTML email templates Experience with Content Management Systems CMS e-commerce FinTech or InsurTech Experience working with insurance clients is crucial for success in this role and we are open to various areas of specialization In addition to core job requirements we ask that
