- Test Automation: Lead the development and execution ofPython/Embedded C-based automation frameworksand scripts to streamline testing processes for Bluetooth technologies and associated hardware.
- Bluetooth Profile Testing: Test and validate Bluetooth profiles includingHFP,A2DP, andLE Audiofor performance, compatibility, and reliability across multiple devices and platforms.
- Test Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for Bluetooth functionality, covering both functional and non-functional testing, including regression, performance, and stress tests.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage for Bluetooth-enabled devices and systems.
- Troubleshooting: Investigate, identify, and resolve issues related to Bluetooth connectivity, interoperability, and performance, collaborating with relevant teams to drive resolutions.
- Test Reporting: Document test results, track defects, and provide clear and actionable insights to stakeholders, ensuring product quality and timely releases.

Skills You Will Need

- Experience: At least 7+ years of experience in software testing/development, with a focus on test automation using Python/Embedded C and working with Bluetooth technologies.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong proficiency inPython/Embedded Cfor test automation, script development, and frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge and experience withBluetooth profilessuch asHFP,A2DP, andLE Audio, including testing and troubleshooting these protocols.
- In-depth knowledge forBluetooth audioanalysis using automation.
- Familiarity withBluetooth Low Energy (BLE)andBluetooth stack.
- Experience with Bluetooth testing tools and methodologies (e.g., Pycharm, Frontline sniffers, Ellisys, Bluetooth SIG test tools, qualification tools).
- Experience testing Bluetooth functionality across various devices (smartphones, tablets, wearables, automotive systems).
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly in complex Bluetooth connectivity and performance issues.
- Test Tools: Familiarity with test management tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration, and automated test execution tools(Jenkins).
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, document test results, and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead testing efforts, guide teams, and deliver quality results on time.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Bluetooth Certification: Experience with the Bluetooth Qualification process or Bluetooth certification is a plus.
