Utilizing exposure to numerous licensed process technologies, the process engineer performs process and systems engineering on high-value projects, proposals and studies. This position works collaboratively with team members across the organization and around the world to develop process designs that provide complex solutions to our customers. Engineers work in a collaborative and engaging environment, they are assigned mentors to help familiarize them to the business and are encouraged to design their own career path towards success. Technical Roles & Responsibilities - To work as a member of the team on the preparation of Basic Engineering Package offered by Lummus Technology for Hydroprocessing technologies. - To work on revamp projects as well as different studies. Prepare study reports. - Conceptualization of Basis of Design. - Co-ordinate process engineering activities with different engineering disciplines. - Perform process engineering calculations and assigned tasks in compliance with Lummus standards. - Able to work in compliance with Basis of Design and ensure accuracy of the document. - Development of process simulations for different process units and generate Heat & Material Balances - Development of Process Flow Diagram and Control Philosophy. - Able to perform & review Unit Utility Balance. - Development & review of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, and Interlocks for safe operation of the plant. - Development of Material Selection Diagram, Design Pressure and Design Temperature calculation. - Preparation & review of process equipment datasheets including Column, Reactor, Vessel, Heat Exchanger, Pump, Compressor etc. - Able to perform & review hydraulics calculation and line sizing. - Able to calculate relief load for different over pressurization scenarios in conjunction with international industry codes and standards. - Development & review of Instrument datasheets. - Participate in different process improvement meetings, such as Basic Engineering Package review meeting. - Preparation of customized Technical Proposal based on the client requirement. Minimum Requirements - 10 - 12 years of relevant experience - Minimum 5 years design experience - Proficient in process engineering simulation software such as Pro II, Provision or Aspen Plus - Have a good understanding of international regulations, international codes, and standards such as API, ASME, and ANSI. - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. - Able to work in MOPEX (Multi office project execution) environment. - The candidates will be posted at our Gurgaon office. However, they should be ready to travel abroad as and when required by the company. - Experience in Hydroprocessing Technologies (Hydrotreating, Hydrocracking, Dewaxing, etc.) is preferred. - B. Tech./M.
