- Computer Lab Technician Position Computer Lab Technician Location IIMT College of Engineering Greater Noida Department IT Cell Reports To Head IT Eligible candidate can also apply through email at hr gn iimtindia net Key Responsibilities Install configure and maintain desktop computers laptops printers projectors and related peripherals in the computer lab Provide technical support to students faculty and staff for hardware software issues Perform regular maintenance troubleshooting and repair of lab equipment Install and update operating systems applications and antivirus software Ensure network connectivity LAN Wi-Fi and assist in troubleshooting internet-related issues Maintain proper inventory records of hardware software licenses and accessories Assist in lab setup for practical classes workshops and examinations Enforce lab rules and IT policies to maintain a secure and productive environment Coordinate with the IT team for upgrades backups and preventive maintenance Required Skills Qualifications Diploma bachelor s in computer science IT or related field Knowledge of Windows Linux operating systems and MS Office tools Familiarity with networking basics LAN IP configuration Wi-Fi printers etc Hands-on skills in PC assembly troubleshooting and preventive maintenance Strong communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Certification in Hardware Networking CompTIA A CCNA basic level Prior experience in managing educational institution computer labs Knowledge of server systems virtualization and backup tools Job Type Full-time Pay 12 000 00 - 18 000 00 per month Education Diploma Preferred Experience Lab Technician 3 years Preferred Work Location In person
