Job Description Job description We are seeking a Junior Technical Artist with at least 1 year of experience to join our team. The role involves supporting the art team by creating and implementing technical solutions for art assets in Unreal Engine . This includes rigging, skinning, texturing, optimizing assets, and developing custom functionality using Blueprints. The Junior Technical Artist will also help troubleshoot technical issues, enhance pipeline efficiency, and contribute to creating visually compelling, high-performance assets. Requirements - Create and implement technical solutions for art assets in Unreal Engine . - Rig and skin 3D models for animation within Unreal Engine. - Apply and optimize textures and materials using the Unreal Engine Material Editor. - Optimize art assets to ensure they meet performance requirements. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to art assets. - Collaborate with the art team to enhance and streamline the art production pipeline in Unreal Engine. - Develop and edit Blueprints to automate processes and build custom functionality. - Work closely with the art and development teams to gather requirements, deliver assets on schedule, and meet project budgets. Benefits - Education: Degree in Game Development, Computer Graphics, or a related field. - Experience: 1+ years of experience in technical art or game development. Skills and Expertise: - Strong proficiency in Unreal Engine with hands-on experience in Blueprints. - Knowledge of 3D modeling, texturing, and rigging software such as Maya, Blender, or Substance Painter. - Familiarity with the Unreal Engine Material Editor and lighting systems. - Experience with animation and visual effects (VFX) systems in Unreal Engine. - Basic programming skills in C++ or Python are a plus. - Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a team environment.
