Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and persuasive Telecaller to join our recruitment team. The primary responsibility of this role is to make outbound calls to potential job candidates, introduce them to suitable job opportunities, collect relevant data, and guide them through the selection and onboarding process. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and persuasion skills, a good understanding of recruitment workflows, and a commitment to delivering a positive candidate experience. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth hiring process by acting as the first point of contact between the organization and job seekers.Key Responsibilities:1. Outbound Candidate Calling: Make outbound calls to shortlisted or potential candidates from the internal database or sourced leads. Clearly explain job openings, company details, roles, responsibilities, and benefits. Answer candidates’ queries related to job positions and clarify doubts regarding eligibility or job location. 2. Data Collection and Candidate Screening: Collect and verify basic candidate details such as qualifications, experience, current location, availability, and expected salary. Conduct preliminary screening based on predefined job requirements and shortlist suitable candidates. Update accurate records of each interaction in the recruitment database or CRM system. 3. Follow-ups and Coordination: Schedule interviews and ensure candidates are informed about the date, time, mode (online/offline), and interview location. Follow up with candidates before interviews to ensure participation and after interviews to update them on the status. Coordinate between candidates and recruiters or hiring managers to ensure timely communication. 4. Onboarding Support: Assist selected candidates with documentation, joining formalities, and onboarding instructions. Provide guidance on submission of documents, joining dates, and HR processes. Address basic onboarding-related queries and escalate complex concerns to the HR or recruitment team. 5. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain daily call logs, candidate data sheets, and follow-up records. Prepare reports on the number of calls made, candidates screened, interviews scheduled, and offers rolled out. Ensure data privacy and maintain confidentiality of candidate information.Required Skills and Competencies: Excellent Communication Skills: Fluent in verbal and written communication in the required language(s); ability to engage and persuade candidates effectively. People-Centric Attitude: Friendly, empathetic, and confident while speaking with candidates from diverse backgrounds. Persuasive Abilities: Strong influencing skills to explain job opportunities in an engaging manner and encourage candidate participation. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage call schedules, follow-ups, and candidate records without errors. Time Management: Handle multiple calls and coordinate with multiple candidates efficiently on a daily basis.
