A PDI Pre-Delivery Inspection Coordinator is responsible for supervising and managing all activities related to vehicle inspection quality checks accessories fitment documentation and timely delivery of vehicles from the stockyard to the showroom The role ensures that every vehicle meets company quality standards before handover to customers Key Responsibilities 1 PDI Operations Management Coordinate and supervise complete PDI processes for new vehicles Ensure vehicles undergo thorough inspection as per OEM guidelines Check for transit damages missing parts and escalate issues immediately Maintain PDI checklists and ensure quality standards are followed 2 Vehicle Movement Stock Management Manage vehicle movement from stockyard to PDI area and showroom Monitor and update vehicle stock availability in the system Ensure proper parking identification and handling of vehicles 3 Accessories Fitment Preparation Coordinate with accessories technicians for timely fitment Ensure correct accessories are fitted as per the customer order Verify cleanliness polishing and overall readiness of each vehicle 4 Documentation Reporting Maintain PDI records vehicle status reports and delivery readiness reports Update the sales team on vehicle readiness and delays File all inspection documents and job cards for audit purposes 5 Coordination With Department Work closely with the service sales and stockyard teams Communicate issues related to vehicle quality defects or shortages Ensure smooth workflow between departments for timely delivery 6 Quality Compliance Follow manufacturer standards tools and procedures Ensure safety protocols are followed during vehicle handling Conduct periodic audits of the PDI area and processes Skills Qualifications Diploma ITI in Automobile Engineering preferred Good knowledge of vehicle systems and inspection parameters Strong communication coordination and documentation skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet delivery timelines Basic computer knowledge MS Excel DMS ERP Job Types Full-time Permanent Fresher Pay 9 000 00 - 15 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Leave encashment Provident Fund Work Location In person
