Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the company&aposs accounting functions, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive performance through effective budget management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements. They will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Reporting:

- Manage the full cycle accounting process,including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements(balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) and reports.
- Ensure compliance with government accounting standards and internal policies.
- Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules.

Compliance & Regulatory Reporting:

- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements (e.g., GST, income tax, payroll taxes).
- Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting and tax regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
- Handle all regulatory filings and submissions in a timely manner.
- Manage company insurance policies and ensure adequate coverage.

Budgeting & Financial Planning:

- Develop and manage the annual budget, working closely with department heads to gather input and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Monitor budget performance and analyze variances, providing insights and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to budget performance.
- Conduct financial forecasting and analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Provide financial analysis to department managers to help them manage their budgets.

Team Management & Leadership:

- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring efficient and accurate completion of tasks.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
- Manage the relationship with banks and other financial institutions.

Financial Analysis:

- Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Provide financial recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor&aposs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 12-14 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software(e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical,problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detailand accuracy.
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Experience with budget preparation and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Professional accounting certification (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA).
- Experience in manufacturing industry.
- Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
