Service Engineer

Service Engineer Duties Responsibilities Perform preventive corrective and breakdown maintenance of thermal spray systems Plasma HVOF Flame Spray Arc Spray etc Diagnose and resolve issues with power supplies spray guns feeders cooling systems manipulators robotics and dust collection units Team Coordination Assist in the coordination of daily workflow and performance of thermal spray technicians supporting production goals and shift handoffs Conduct root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions Equipment Management Monitor and maintain gas supply lines powder feeders and control panels for safe and reliable operation Troubleshooting Address issues related to spray operations and escalate complex problems when necessary Documentation Maintain accurate Maintenance records in SAP for tracking purposes Safety Compliance Promote and enforce a strong safety culture by adhering to all protocols participating in audits and leading by example Continuous Improvement Lead or assist in continuous improvement initiatives including 5S 6S activities and lean practices Team Representation Represent the company professionally in all situations maintaining a positive attitude following direction from supervisors and protect confidential or internal information Flexibility and Adaptability Must be prepared to take on additional duties as required and assist in other areas of the maintenance production process when needed This list does not include all responsibilities of this position Required education experience knowledge University degree diploma in electronics electrical engineering Minimum 5-8 years experience as service engineer in mechanical service industry Knowledge of HVOF spray processes and equipment including teardown and rebuilding of HVOF guns Knowledge of Plasma spray its process is recommended Automation certification would be an added advantage Location -
