
Senior Technical Program Manager, AI Agent Development

Job Description Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes, including Bill of Materials (BOMs), ECOs, or New Product Introduction (NPI) workflows, typically gained from a technical role in manufacturing or infrastructure. - 5 years of experience in architecting data engineering, data warehousing, data analytics, business intelligence, visualization, and data solutions using SQL and Python. - 3 years of experience in developing and deploying production-grade Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) solutions or self-sustaining agent systems. Preferred qualifications: - Certification in PLM systems (e.g., Agile PLM, Windchill, TeamCenter). - 7 years of experience in a technical role including software development and technical program management/architecture roles. - Experience in PLM systems (e.g., Agile PLM, Windchill, TeamCenter) with the knowledge of data governance in the hardware industry. - Experience with using Vertex AI Agent Builder or other agent orchestration frameworks. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. Responsibilities - Design, prototype, and build production-grade Artificial Intelligence (AI) agents using Large Language Model (LLMs), Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and custom machine learning that interact with Product Lifecycle Management/Product Data Management (PLM/PDM) systems and processes (e.g., BOMs, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), NPI). Establish testing, evaluation, and monitoring frameworks for agent performance, focusing on accuracy, automation rate, and data quality improvement. - Define the technical scope, goals, and success metrics for the PLM AI Agent roadmap, ensuring alignment with the Technical Infrastructure and Cloud business strategy. Own the execution of agent development programs. Document and communicate the PLM processes being transformed by AI articulating the business value (e.g., cycle time reduction, cost savings, quality gains) to executive stakeholder - Act as the primary interface between the development team, PLM Process Owners, Product Managers, and Operations teams.
