Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager with over 10 years of expertise in delivering high-quality services within Agile and Scrum environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end service delivery, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and effectively while meeting business objectives. You will lead cross-functional teams, champion Agile methodologies, and drive continuous improvement in delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Delivery Leadership:
Manage the successful delivery of services in line with client expectations and service-level agreements (SLAs).
Ensure smooth operation of service delivery teams and maintain a focus on continuous service improvement.
Oversee day-to-day operational management and be the point of escalation for any delivery issues.
Agile &; Scrum Management:
Implement and uphold Agile principles across delivery teams, ensuring that Scrum practices are fully adopted.
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and ensure delivery timelines are met.
Work with Product Owners to prioritize backlogs and maintain alignment between business needs and team capacity.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring that communication is clear and expectations are managed.
Collaborate with internal teams, product management, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that drive customer satisfaction.
Team Management &; Development:
Lead and mentor Agile teams, helping them to self-organize, improve performance, and deliver high-quality work.
Provide coaching on Agile/Scrum methodologies to ensure the team works in a productive, collaborative environment.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process optimizations to enhance service delivery.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure optimal delivery and operational efficiency.
Risk &; Issue Management:
Identify potential risks to delivery and develop mitigation strategies to resolve issues before they impact service quality.
Manage incident escalations, ensuring quick resolution and minimal service disruption.
Required Skills &; Experience:
10+ years of experience in service delivery or project management roles, with a strong focus on Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Proven track record in leading and managing cross-functional delivery teams.
In-depth knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and practical experience in coaching and mentoring teams.
Strong understanding of IT service management and experience with ITIL practices is a plus.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or other relevant certifications.
ITIL Foundation certification (preferred).
