Profee Radiology Coders:

What Were Looking For

Experience: 5+ years in Radiology coding (Diagnostic & Interventional)

Education: Science graduate/postgraduate

Certification: Current AHIMA CCS or AAPC CPC/COC/CIC/CIRCC or RCCB RCC/RCCIR

Skills: Strong English communication (verbal & written)

Location: Office-based role

Expertise Areas

E/M coding & imaging-guided surgeries

X-rays, CTs, MRIs/MRAs, Ultrasounds, Mammograms, Nuclear Studies

ICD-10-CM coding & medical necessity documentation

Medicare & payer-specific coverage policies

Familiarity with RIS and PACS (preferred)

Problem Solving

What Youll Do

Assign accurate ICD-10-CM & CPT codes for radiology procedures

Ensure full compliance with coding regulations

Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to resolve documentation gaps

Perform self-audits & contribute to quality improvement

Stay updated on coding guidelines & radiology advancements
