What We're Looking For

· Experience:
5+ years in Radiology coding (Diagnostic & Interventional)

· Education:
Science graduate/postgraduate

· Certification:
Current AHIMA CCS or AAPC CPC/COC/CIC/CIRCC or RCCB RCC/RCCIR

· Skills
: Strong English communication (verbal & written)

· Location:
Office-based role

Expertise Areas

· E/M coding & imaging-guided surgeries

· X-rays, CTs, MRIs/MRAs, Ultrasounds, Mammograms, Nuclear Studies

· ICD-10-CM coding & medical necessity documentation

· Medicare & payer-specific coverage policies

· Familiarity with RIS and PACS (preferred)

· Problem Solving

What You'll Do

· Assign accurate ICD-10-CM & CPT codes for radiology procedures

· Ensure full compliance with coding regulations

· Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to resolve documentation gaps

· Perform self-audits & contribute to quality improvement

· Stay updated on coding guidelines & radiology advancements
