Job Description

Role Purpose

The Visa Processing Officer is responsible for handling visa applications efficiently while ensuring a seamless experience for applicants. The role involves day-to-day visa administration, compliance monitoring, issuance of short-term study visa letters, and ensuring adherence to Gedu Global Education policies. Candidates should have experience in visa processing, preferably for Europe (with a focus on Malta, Spain, France, Germany), USA, Dubai, the UK.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end visa application processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Stay updated on immigration laws and regulations; always ensure strict compliance.
- Provide guidance and support to applicants throughout the visa process.
- Prepare and issue short-term study visa letters to international students in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate visa-related records and generate regular reports.
- Identify opportunities to streamline visa procedures and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide an integrated admissions and visa service.
- Train and guide colleagues/stakeholders on visa-related procedures.
- Keep up-to-date knowledge of immigration policy changes.
- Support the admissions team in delivering effective visa services.
- Understand and apply GEDU's admissions and selection policies.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- 36 years of hands-on experience in visa application processing (Europe (with a focus on Malta, Spain, France, Germany), USA, Dubai, the UK)
- Strong knowledge of immigration rules and visa processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills & ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office and visa application systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
