Location Bangalore, India About The Team The Software Development team manages the end-to-end lifecycle of our products, from design and development to testing, debugging, and maintenance. With a blend of experienced professionals and emerging talent, the team ensures the delivery of robust, scalable, and high-quality solutions. Collaboration and structured knowledge-sharing are integral to the way the team works, driving continuous improvement and innovation. By aligning technical expertise with organizational goals, the team plays a critical role in shaping and advancing our technology landscape. What you will do - Collaborate closely with agile team members and under the guidance of senior developers to support the design of functional areas, implementation, and testing of small to medium-sized features. - Design Kinaxis software components of a single functional area to support feature development within low to medium complexity. - Identify and suggest areas of code to be refactored and write, refactor, or modify areas of code that are medium-sized and have moderate interdependencies. - Log defects and provide explanations for product behavior, suggest workarounds to customer support, and resolve or re-test minor software defects. - Eliminate obvious and subtle bugs in the product and write effective manual and automated functional tests. - Augment test frameworks or test tools. - Submit code for review and incorporate feedback, as well as act as a reviewer for code submitted by junior developers. - Proactively seek opportunities to learn and develop, including participation in mentoring programs, technical training, attending conferences, etc. What we are looking for - Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. - Minimum 5 years of experience in developing complex Java applications. - Proficiency with open-source frameworks including Spring and Hibernate. - Experience with agile development methods. - Preferably experienced with DevOps and Micro-service architectures. - Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-friendly attitude. - Intermediate analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to plan and provide well-thought-out recommendations on technical issues. - Genuine passion for software development for a global cloud platform. - Preferably experienced with transactional systems like Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS). - Preferably logistics knowledge and understanding of supply chain processes. #Intermediate Work With Impact: Our platform directly helps companies power the world's supply chains.
