Key Responsibilities: As a Junior Accountant, you will be a vital part of the finance team, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting daily accounting operations. Financial Data Management: Perform daily entry and management of financial transactions using accounting software, with proficiency in Tally ERP/Prime being essential. Maintain accurate and organized records in MS-Office (Excel, Word) for tracking expenses, income, and other financial data. Tax and Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of GST (Goods and Services Tax) returns and related documentation. Ensure all financial documentation complies with statutory regulations and company policies. Communication & Reporting: Handle communication related to accounts, including vendor inquiries and internal team coordination. Support the preparation of basic financial statements and reports as required by the management. Supplier and Customer Relations: Manage and reconcile accounts for Customer & Supplier Handling, including processing invoices, tracking payments/receivables, and managing supplier ledgers. Assist in the timely collection of payments and management of payables. General Accounting Support: Assist senior accountants with month-end and year-end closing processes. Perform bank reconciliation and petty cash management. Key Requirements : Education: Any Degree Experience: 1 - 2 Years of relevant experience Skills: Tally, MS-Office, GST Filing, Communication, Customer & Supplier Handling Location: Women's SIDCO, Chennai Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday - Saturday)
