Your responsibilities will include driving resolution of complex testing challenges, leading the implementation of critical enhancements, and spearheading modernization initiatives to ensure our test automation frameworks and practices are future-ready and aligned with business objectives.u00A0 u00A0 u00A0 How Youu2019ll Succeed:u00A0 - u00A0Drive Strategic Quality Initiatives: Align test automation goals with enterprise objectives, ensuring that testing solutions directly support business outcomes and deliver measurable value.u00A0 - Lead with Influence: Inspire and guide cross-functional teams by promoting a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improvement in testing practices.u00A0 - u00A0Deliver Scalable Solutions: Architect and implement test automation frameworks that are robust, maintainable, and adaptable to evolving technologies and platforms.u00A0 - u00A0Foster Collaboration: Partner effectively with development, DevOps, product, and business teams toensure automated testing is appropriately integrated within the software development lifecycle.u00A0 - Champion Modernization: Evaluate emerging tools, trends, and technologies to modernize testing processes and improve speed, reliability, and test coverage.u00A0 - Ensure Quality at Speed: Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor automation test performance, reduce manual effort, and accelerate release cycles without compromising quality.u00A0 - Mentor and Uplift Teams: Share expertise and best practices to build testing competency across teams, nurturing the next generation of automation engineers.u00A0 What You Should Bring:u00A0u00A0 - Deep hands-on experience with a broad range of test automation tools and technologies,u00A0u00A0 - UI and functional testing: Protractor, Cypress, Playwrightu00A0 - AI testing : MABLu00A0 - API testing: Postmanu00A0 - Performance testing: k6, JMeteru00A0 - Mobile testing: Appium for iOS and Androidu00A0 - BDD frameworks: Cucumber, SpecFlowu00A0 - Proficiency in various testing types: functional, integration, regression, mobile, data, security, component, and UI/UX testing.u00A0 - Practical experience in developing test solutions using programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript.u00A0 - Exposure to Power BI, Splunk, or other monitoring/reporting tools for real-time visibility into test execution and system behavior.u00A0 - u00A0Champion an u201Cautomation-firstu201D mindset in test execution and continuous delivery strategies.u00A0 - Provide expert-level consultation on test automation tools, frameworks, and best-fit solutions tailored to business and technology needs.u00A0 - Align people, tools, and processes to support rapid, reusable, and scalable test automation solutions across the enterprise.u00A0 - Continuously evaluate emerging tools and technologies to ensure Lilly remains at the forefront of quality engineering innovation.u00A0 - Collaborate with theu00A0 Automation Architect to ensure platforms meet standards for stability, scalability, security, and performance.u00A0 - Develop deep technical expertise in modern automation platforms and testing industry best practices to drive continuous optimization.u00A0 - Define and track automation KPIs, quality metrics, and dashboards in collaboration with peers.u00A0 - Strong understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.u00A0 - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.u00A0 Basic Qualifications:u00A0 - Bacheloru2019s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical fieldu00A0 - 15+ years of relevant experience in software testing and automation, with a proven track record in delivering test solutions across enterprise applications.u00A0 - Proven experience as a technical leader, with the ability to influence strategic direction and drive implementation across multiple projectsu00A0 - Demonstrated at least 6-7 years of people management experience, including leading cross-functional QA teams, hiring and onboarding talent, setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and fostering career developmentu00A0 - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and business teamsu00A0 u00A0 About the Organization:u00A0 Lilly IT builds and maintains capabilities using cutting edge technologies like most prominent tech companies.
