The goal of software engineering at Lilly is to create high-quality, reliable, and effective software utilizing cutting edge methodologies and integrations to solve Lillyu2019s real-world problems and provide value to our customers.u00A0 As an Enterprise Test Automation Expert, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of cutting-edge test automation frameworks, fostering a culture of continuous integration and deployment, and guiding teams across the enterprise to achieve robust, scalable, and efficient test automation practices.u00A0 Key responsibilities:u00A0 - Serve as a liaison across various technology at Lilly functional areas to promote and support enterprise-wide test automation initiatives.u00A0 - Lead and mentor a diverse team of Test Leads and Engineers to rapidly initiate and scale test automation efforts.u00A0 - Provide expert consultation on test automation tools, solution fit, and best practices.u00A0 - Champion an u201Cautomation-firstu201D mindset in test execution strategies and software delivery.u00A0 - Develop deep technical expertise in test automation platforms and industry best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.u00A0 - Align people, tools, and processes to enable rapid and reusable automation solutions across the enterprise.u00A0 - Continuously evaluate and validate emerging automation tools and technologies to ensure Lilly remains at the forefront of innovation.u00A0 - Collaborate with the Test Automation Architect to ensure platform stability, security, performance, and scalability.u00A0 - Partner with peers to define and maintain automation metrics and KPIs, including dashboards and automated reporting.u00A0 - Work closely with delivery teams to anticipate demand, plan capacity, and ensure timely project execution.u00A0 - Act as a consulting partner to functional teams, identifying automation opportunities and guiding the implementation of scalable, sustainable test automation strategies.u00A0u00A0 - Serve in a techno-functional role, collaborating with various functional areas and the Enterprise Test Automation team to bridge gaps and ensure effective automation solutions.u00A0 u202Fu00A0 Qualificationsu00A0 - Bacheloru2019s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.u00A0 - 8+ years of relevant experience in the fieldu00A0 - Proven experience as a technical leader, with the ability to influence strategic direction and drive implementation across multiple projects.u00A0 - Extensive hands-on experience in software testing and test automation tools and technologies.u00A0 - Proficiency in various testing types: functional, integration, regression, mobile, data, cross-platform, component, security, and UI/UX testing.u00A0 - Strong understanding of hybrid cloud and cloud-native architectures, integration strategies, and security considerations.u00A0 - Demonstrated ability to build relationships, lead diverse teams, and drive operational improvements.u00A0 - Should have experience with stakeholder management, influencing without authority, relationship managementu202Fu00A0 - Should have experience leading testing teams in executing large scale test plans for complex systemsu202Fu00A0 - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.u00A0 - Candidate should have prior experience working in the pharmaceutical or life sciences domain.u00A0u00A0 Preferred Skillsu00A0 - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.u00A0 - High intellectual and technical curiosity with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.u00A0 - Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.u00A0 - Experience in performing security testing for web applications, mobile apps, APIs, networks, and cloud infrastructure. - Expertise in identifying, analysing and reporting security vulnerabilities and work closely with development and operations teams for timely remediation. - Experience in Developing and maintaining security test cases, scripts, and tools. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security testing into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevSecOps practices. - Experience in conducting threat modelling and risk assessments. - Good understanding of emerging security threats and vulnerabilities and update testing methodologies accordingly. - Ensure adherence to security standards and compliance requirements such as OWASP, PCI-DSS, GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
