About Lokal Access Empowerment for Bharat through AI and Local Language Internet Lokal is India s largest regional content and services platform built for the 500 million internet users from tier 2 towns Founded by IIT alumni Lokal started in 2018 to address the lack of relevant local content and now goes beyond content to solve real everyday problems of Bharat Growing as a house of apps Lokal is evolving into an AI-driven discovery and access platform connecting users in tier 2 India with the experts tools and knowledge they ve historically lacked access to Lokal Matrimony - Location-based matchmaking apps focused on hyperlocal compatibility - Hyperlocal job discovery platform connecting blue- and grey-collar workers with nearby opportunities - Skill-based learning in regional languages stocks photography small business more - Make new friends through voice chats games and real authentic conversations - A safe space to explore emotional well-being via community-driven support - Instant access to trusted astrologers through audio and chat And more - 10 new apps in testing exploration across agricultural advisory legal advisory financial guidance and AI-powered personal assistants Role Overview We are hiring a Product Manager to lead key initiatives in our Matrimony app You ll own high-impact projects across pricing growth user retention expansion and platform strategy working closely with cross-functional teams to scale Lokal Matrimony in India and beyond Requirements Drive product strategy for conversion and retention by analyzing the impact of supply-side levers and making data-driven decisions Own and enhance payment success metrics PG integrations and the overall checkout experience Conduct pricing experiments - default pricing cohort-based pricing discounting and repeat user pricing strategies Collaborate with the Marketing team to unlock new acquisition channels and optimize performance Lead strategic expansions - across new states languages caste-level communities iOS and international markets if applicable Manage and optimize the multi-app environment in the matrimony ecosystem Define and improve profile verification and support processes to boost trust and user satisfaction Work closely with design tech analytics and business teams to execute and iterate on solutions Requirements 3 years of experience in product management preferably in consumer internet dating matrimony or marketplace products Strong background in data-driven decision-making must be mathematically sharp and investigative in approach Educational background from IIT BITS NIT or other top-tier institutes preferred Prior experience in marketplaces or platforms with demand-supply matching problems is a strong plus Ability to think strategically and also roll up your sleeves to execute Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Benefits Why Join Lokal Work on meaningful problems for the next 500M users of the internet Build products from the ground up in a fast-paced impact-driven environment Collaborate with top talent from IITs IIMs and premier institutions Be part of a mission-led team backed by marquee investors
