Job Summary We are seeking a Hair Extension Assistant to support the daily operations of our Miracle Hair Extension services. The ideal candidate will work alongside hair stylists and extension experts to assist with customer service, product preparation, salon hygiene, and client management. This role is perfect for someone who has a passion for hair, beauty, and customer service. You will get hands-on experience working with various hair extension techniques and products while ensuring a smooth and professional experience for all clients. Key Responsibilities 1. Client Preparation & Support Greet clients politely and help them feel comfortable before their appointment. Assist in prepping clients for hair extension services (e.g., cape placement, hair sectioning support). Provide clients with beverages or reading material while they wait. Educate clients on aftercare tips and extension maintenance when required. 2. Extension Handling & Preparation Assist the stylist in preparing and organizing hair extensions for application. Help in sorting, brushing, detangling, and measuring hair extensions as per client needs. Maintain proper labeling and cleanliness of all hair pieces, clips, or bonding tools. Handle various types of extensions – clip-in, tape-in, fusion, micro ring, sew-in, etc. 3. Product and Tool Management Keep all tools (brushes, straighteners, heat tools, bonding machines) clean and ready for use. Sanitize combs, clips, and salon surfaces before and after every use. Assist in applying or removing hair extensions under supervision, if trained. Restock products such as bonding glue, tapes, removers, and conditioners. 4. Coordination and Scheduling Maintain client records, appointment schedules, and assist with bookings and follow-ups. Inform stylists about their next appointment and manage time slots efficiently. Remind clients about extension maintenance visits or aftercare sessions. 5. Hygiene and Cleanliness Maintain salon cleanliness and follow hygiene protocols at all times. Sweep hair, clean chairs, and sanitize workstations between appointments. Ensure towels and capes are laundered and available at all times. 6. Inventory Management Monitor inventory of hair extensions, tools, and salon supplies. Assist in receiving, counting, and organizing hair stock and accessories. Report low stock to the stylist or salon manager in advance. Key Skills and Attributes Passion for Hair & Beauty: A keen interest in hair styling and extension trends.
