Job Description

This role is for a Ruby on Rails Lead to guide a team and drive the development of full-stack applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience as a full-stack developer with a deep understanding of the Ruby on Rails framework, as well as proficiency in front-end technologies and Agile methodologies. This individual will be responsible for leading a team, programming new features, and ensuring the technical quality of the product.

Responsibilities

- Lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship to ensure project success.
- Take ownership of programming and developing robust Ruby on Rails applications.
- Contribute to both back-end logic and front-end user interfaces, working as a full-stack developer.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and best practices throughout the development cycle.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and design discussions to build a scalable and maintainable application.

Skills

Required Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience as a full-stack developer.
- Proven experience in leading a team.
- Expertise in programming and developing Ruby on Rails applications.
- Strong knowledge of the Rails framework, including:
- ActiveRecord for database interaction.
- ActiveSupport for extended core functionalities.
- Mongoid (if applicable) for MongoDB integration.
- Device and OmniAuth for authentication and authorization.
- RubyMotion for mobile development.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks like jQuery and ReactJS.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and Bootstrap for front-end development.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies to contribute effectively to the team's workflow.
