Job Description The Assistant CFO will oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in the manufacturing industry. Description - Manage and oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes. - Prepare management Information System (MIS) reports for management decision-making. - Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulatory and legal financial requirements. - Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations, including tax planning, filing, and reporting - Liaise with consultants, statutory auditors, and internal auditors, ensuring timely submission of financial data and adherence to all statutory regulations. - Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth. - Analyse financial data to identify trends and recommend improvements. - Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting and finance team. Profile A Successful Financial Controller Should Have - Charted Accountant (CA). - Proven experience in financial management within the manufacturing industry. - 10-15 years of experience in corporate finance/accounts. - Strong expertise in financial reporting, tax laws, auditing procedures, and project accounting - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders. - Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
