Role Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and proactive Android Developer to join our on-site team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to think through multiple scenarios to build robust and scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain Android applications using Java, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and XML.
- Implement application architecture following MVVM pattern with Coroutines, LiveData, and Flow.
- Integrate with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices and manage Services for background operations.
- Handle REST API integrations efficiently using Retrofit and manage local data using Room DB.
- Apply Dependency Injection frameworks (Dagger/Hilt) as needed in the project.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure code quality with clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
- Think proactively to cover all possible scenarios, edge cases, and failure points during implementation.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of Jetpack Compose and XML UI design.
- Experience with Room DB for local storage.
- Hands-on experience with BLE integrations and working with Services.
- Expertise in REST API integration using Retrofit.
- Familiarity with Dependency Injection frameworks (Dagger/Hilt).
