We are seeking a detail-oriented ICU Ward Secretary to manage administrative duties in the ICU department This role involves coordinating patient information maintaining records managing appointments and supporting the ICU staff to ensure smooth daily operations Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation for ICU patients Coordinate communication between doctors nurses and patients families Schedule patient appointments tests and procedures as per ICU protocols Ensure that patient charts files and records are properly organized and updated Answer phone calls take messages and provide information to visitors as needed Assist with the admission and discharge process for ICU patients Monitor and manage patient billing and insurance documentation Handle confidential patient information in compliance with hospital privacy policies HIPAA Order and manage office supplies for the ICU department Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Associate s degree or medical secretary certification is a plus Previous experience as a medical secretary ward secretary or in a healthcare setting is preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Proficiency in medical terminology and hospital administration systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment Why Join Us Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for career advancement in a hospital setting Work in a supportive and collaborative healthcare environment Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 10 000 00 - 15 000 00 per month Benefits Paid time off Provident Fund Work Location In person
