Job Responsibilities :

Market Price Data Collection: Gather market prices and intelligence from various sources, including government websites, market reports, and trader networks, to support DeHaat's procurement and sales strategies.

• Source Development: Scout for new sources of daily market prices, including online platforms,

market associations, and government agencies, to enhance DeHaat's market intelligence.

• Data Quality Check: Perform quality checks on collected data to ensure accuracy and consistency,

supporting DeHaat's commitment to data-driven decision-making.

• Query Resolution: Resolve queries from internal stakeholders, farmers, and traders regarding

market prices and data, providing exceptional customer service.

• Trader Connect: Establish and maintain relationships with traders, market associations, and other

stakeholders to gather market intelligence and prices, supporting DeHaat's mission to connect

farmers with markets.

• Data Analysis: Analyze market trends, prices, and other relevant data to provide insights to

internal stakeholders, supporting DeHaat's strategic decision-making.

Education & Experience:

• MBA in Agribusiness Management or masters in a related field.

• 2-4 years of experience in commodity research, procurement, or a related field, preferably in

agriculture or a related industry.

• Numerical Skills: Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills, able to interpret complex market

data.

Leadership Skills :

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with internal

stakeholders, farmers, and traders.

• Strong Collaboration and team building skills.

• Strategic Thinking along with a Problem-Solving Attitude.

Domain Knowledge :

• Commodity Market Knowledge: Familiarity with commodity markets, including agricultural

products, and experience working with market data.

• Should be highly data driven, have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Agriculture Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the agriculture industry, including farming

practices, market trends, and regulatory frameworks.
