Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role, based in Noida, for a Lead Physical Design Engineer. The Lead Physical Design Engineer will be responsible for managing and executing the complete Netlist to GDSII implementation process, including floorplanning, placement, routing, and physical verification. Additional duties include coordinating with various teams for DFT and STA, ensuring first-time silicon success, and performing design automation tasks. This role will also involve mentoring junior engineers and collaborating closely with clients to meet project requirements.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in physical design implementation processes such as floorplanning, placement, routing, and physical verification
- Oversee all stages of physical design flow, including floorplanning, placement, clock tree synthesis (CTS), routing, and physical verification
- Ensure adherence to advanced design rules and industry best practices for manufacturability
- Good understanding of the latest PD flows
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration throughout the design cycle
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex physical design challenges
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with EDA tools from major vendors like Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics is a plus
