Greece and Portugal VOIS BeUnrivalled CreateTheFuture About this Role We are seeking a Transmission Optical Networks Specialist to maintain high availability of transmission Optical Networks and platforms within Vodafone Global Network along with Enterprise customer services globally What you will do Ensure availability of network and platform 24x7 Obtain 95 of incident resolution minimising MTTR Support provide and build activity Manage and assist change activity with zero incidents due to change Provide infrastructure maintenance to support customer and platform requirements On-board new networks and systems Act as SME during major incidents Manage multiple projects in an intense environment Prepare detailed performance and benefit analysis Improve team performance and simplify complex processes Provide real-time operational support for complex multi-technology solutions Adopt a customer-focused approach to meet desired customer experience Who you are Full SC BC Security Clearance where required Strong communication skills both written and verbal Ability to remain calm when working to demanding timescales and deadlines Confident communicator able to operate at all levels with customer representatives suppliers and Vodafone colleagues Proactively identify self-development needs Strong understanding of all network disciplines Knowledge sharing among team members
