About the Role M2P
- Fintech is looking for a subject matter expert in Lending Products who will specialize in managing client support and resolve product related issues. You will serve as the main point of contact for inquiries and foster strong client relationships. The role also entails collaborating with clients to gather new requirements and translating them into features for product development, working alongside product managers and developers to enhance offerings based on feedback. Additionally, you will create detailed documentation and conduct training sessions for internal teams on lending products and processes.
What Will You Do in this Role Client Support and Issue Resolution:
- Engage directly with internal and external clients to understand the customers lending requirements, do fitment analysis and provide expert guidance on the capabilities of our lending products.
- Proactively manage and resolve client issues related to lending products in a timely and efficient manner.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client queries, ensuring satisfaction and fostering strong client relationships.
Requirement Development:
- Collaborate with clients to gather and interpret their new requirements for lending products, translating them into actionable product features.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to integrate client requirements into the product development roadmap.
- Continuously identify and propose enhancements to existing product offerings based on client feedback and market needs.
Loan Types and Lifecycle Management:
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of various loan types including personal loans, auto loans, mortgage loans, commercial loans, advances and others.
- Define and document the comprehensive lifecycle events of each loan product, including origination, underwriting, disbursement, servicing, past due handling and closure.
- Ensure that lending processes remain efficient, compliant with regulatory standards, and user-friendly.
Industry Trends and Compliance:
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in the lending sector.
- Ensure that our lending products and processes adhere to relevant regulations and standards.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to drive product innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Documentation and Training:
- Develop comprehensive documentation for lending products, including product specifications, user guides, and training materials.
- Conduct training sessions for internal teams to enhance their understanding of lending products and processes, ensuring they can effectively support clients.
What You'll Need to be Successful in this Role
- 7 - 10 years of relevant domain and business analysis/ product owner, product solutions, and Implementation consultant experience in Core banking and/or Retail & Commercial Lending software products space.
- Prior domain expertise in a banking institution in lending operations and servicing and direct end-user experience on lending software products would be desirable.
- End-to-end project lifecycle experience as a functional consultant in one to two implementations would be an added advantage.
- Excellent documentation skills.
