It is fully geared to service global clients by providing end-to-end engineering solutions from feasibility studies and scope documents to design conceptualization, FEED, detailed design, PMC, field engineering, commissioning and start up assistance and also debottlenecking for efficient plant operations. We are looking for qualified and experienced professional in Tendering & Estimation function at Essar Constructions India Ltd, Mumbai Job Purpose: Carry out estimation process for large-scale tenders and projects by preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, evaluating technical and commercial risks, coordinating with internal departments and vendors, and supporting the bidding strategy to win projects profitably. Major Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQ's for mechanical works based on drawing, specifications and project scope - Analyse tender documents including drawing, specifications and contractual conditions - Identify, quantify price risks, uncertainties and contingencies in proposal - Collaborate with engineering, procurement, planning and construction team for accurate inputs on quantities, pricing, schedule and resources - Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and evaluate offers - Prepare cost comparison sheets and pricing summaries for management reviews - Ensure timely submission of tenders with all technical and commercial requirements met - Maintain and update cost databases, benchmarks and market price trends - Provide post-tender clarifications, support negotiations and handover to project execution teams Functional Skills: - Experience in Oil & Gas, Steel, Power, Infrastructure sectors - Strong knowledge of estimation softwares (e,g Candy, Primavera) - Understanding of technical drawings, contracts, pricing mechanism and project execution Behavioural Skills: - Customer Focus - Negotiation Skills - Commercial Acumen - Interpersonal Skills - Skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. – Mechanical Post-graduation in Construction Management or Cost Engineering will be an added advantage Experience: 3-6 years of experience in project estimation / tendering
