KRA Responsibilities for OT Sr Executive Roles and Duties of OT Sr Executive OT Infra Key Responsibilities and Duties Identifying and Documenting Security Risks Identify and document security risks Monitor and report risks and status to OT ICS Security Lead User Account Management Manage user accounts add remove update reset passwords define privileges etc for operator workstations network devices etc Suspend remove or transfer logical access rights for employees whose employment is terminated or changed based on requests from the corresponding department Periodically review user accounts and access privileges Maintenance of Physical and Virtual Machines Maintain physical and virtual machines Perform routine audits of hardware and software entities on the network to find and close security gaps Operating System and Software Management Apply operating system updates patches and required configuration changes to tighten security and address vulnerabilities Patch all remotely accessible systems Network Security and Monitoring Protect the network from malicious entities such as hackers viruses and spyware Ensure the security of traffic that passes through the network Ensure that network equipment is physically secure and operational Maintain an inventory of computers servers terminals modems and other access devices attached to the network Manage assign and maintain the list of network addresses Upgrade manage and maintain VPN concentrators routers and other network equipment Write and implement policies to govern Galaxy Surfactants network environment and connected systems Remote Connection Management Configure systems for secure remote connections Log all failed and successful remote connections Monitor activities during remote connections Log all changes made during remote connections Removable Media and Device Management Disable ports on all OT ICS devices for removable media by default Monitor and log all removable media usage Enable removable media ports only when required Password Policy Implementation Implement policies to meet the requirements of the password policy OT Security Key Responsibilities Develop and manage an OT cybersecurity plan Identify the OT ICS security environment and controls to be implemented to protect information assets monitor these internal controls and adjust improve when required Define and manage OT ICS security risk assessments and risk treatment plan Conduct thorough assessments to identify risks and develop appropriate plans to mitigate them Review Approve OT ICS security business cases Request funding and resources and provide progress reports to the OT ICS Security Manager Identify processes for monitoring tracking and reporting program success Establish schedules for these activities to ensure continuous improvement and accountability Manage creation and changes to OT ICS security program Charter documents Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and reflective of current practices Facilitate Risk Incident and Audit management activities Act as the coordinator for these critical activities to ensure effective management and resolution Interface with operations customers and vendors Communicate OT ICS security program policies processes and procedure changes clearly and effectively Escalate major program issues Report significant OT ICS security program issues to the OT ICS Security Manager promptly Communicate policy deviations or non-conformance issues Notify the OT ICS Security Manager of any deviations or non-conformance issues and suggest improvements Improve efficiency and effectiveness Provide ways to enhance the OT ICS security function s efficiency and effectiveness Collect and analyze performance and compliance data Gather data related to OT ICS security and information risk management to inform decision-making and improvements Provide guidance and training Offer guidance to Asset Owners and set capability requirements and training plans for them Build security communications plan Develop and implement a comprehensive OT ICS security communications plan Handle OT ICS security alerts and incidents promptly Ensure all OT ICS security incidents are addressed in a timely manner Escalate issues to the OT ICS Security Lead as needed Follow the appropriate communication channel to send updates Coordinate risk incident and audit management activities Conduct threat vulnerability and risk assessments Skills and Qualifications BE B Tech in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field Proven experience in managing IT services in a plant or manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of network and server management Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Good understanding of IT compliance and audit processes Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Designation Sr Executive - IT Location Taloja
