Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: - Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of facility buildings, grounds, and equipment. - Manage all aspects of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems. - Ensure the facility complies with local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards. - Coordinate and manage facility services such as janitorial, waste management, and landscaping. - Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to avoid equipment failure and unplanned downtime. - Maintain facility-related records, including maintenance schedules, compliance documentation, and repair logs. - Supervise and manage facility staff, including custodians, technicians, and contractors. - Prepare and manage the facility budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources for maintenance, repairs, and improvements. - Liaise with vendors and contractors for facility repairs, upgrades, and services. - Conduct regular inspections of the premises to ensure that facilities are well-maintained and operational. - Respond to emergency maintenance requests, ensuring quick resolution of issues. - Implement energy efficiency programs and initiatives to reduce energy consumption and operational costs. - Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.
