Assistant EngineerRole And Responsibilities:-Assists in planning and developing engineering design projectsPrepares engineering plans, follows specifications, design and project cost estimates for CIP projectsTroubleshoots design problems; may assist with environmental reviews for projectsInfrastructure design and planning from Bangalore/Gurgaon offices.Work to high standards, ensuring right-first-time delivery.Ownership of the work of self and juniors they work with.Support the technical development of Graduates and Technicians and contribute positively through knowledge share.Work on a range of projects relating to sewerage/storm network modeling, drainage Experience in the water and wastewater consultancy industry.Candidates should have a clear and demonstrable technical understanding of drainage infrastructure and related issues.Excellent problem solver who brings innovative ideas.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Responsibilities include completing all tasks assigned by the Senior Engineer, safely operating equipment, and working alongside other engineers in the planning, design, development, and evaluation stages of projectsDemonstrable experience in network design or hydraulic modeling is mandatory.Experience in using design or hydraulic modeling software (preferably in InfoWorks CS/2D/ICM or Windes or Bentley suite of software).Excellent report writing skills and fluency in English.Knowledge of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) e.g. MapInfo, ArcGISExcellent team player.A results-oriented professional who takes initiative.Knowledge of Visual Basics and GIS automation â MapBasics, Python etc.Ability to follow instructions.Value addition through innovations and automation in project delivery.
