Inviting applications for the role of Senior Associate, Meshing Engineer
We are looking for a detail-oriented Meshing Engineer with strong expertise in HyperMesh to support simulation-driven product development. The role involves creating high-quality finite element (FE) meshes for analysis, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and reliability in downstream simulations.
Responsibilities
.Key responsibilities include creating 2D & 3D mesh, improving mesh quality, and developing best practices for meshing using HyperMesh%27s tools.
.Clean up and prepare complex CAD models (UG NX preferably) for meshing to ensure a clean and accurate simulation environment
.A strong understanding of finite element analysis (FEA), geometry preparation, and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality meshes are essential.
.Verify mesh quality against defined criteria to ensure it is suitable for FEA simulations.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
.Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
.Experience in FE meshing, with strong hands-on skills in Altair HyperMesh.
.Solid understanding of FEA principles and mesh quality parameters.
.Experience in preparing models for structural, or thermal analyses.
.Knowledge of geometry handling tools (NX, Creo, SolidWorks, etc.).
.Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex geometries.
.Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Exposure to solver environments (e.g., OptiStruct, Radioss, Abaqus, LS-DYNA, ANSYS).
.Knowledge of automation/scripting in HyperMesh (TCL, Python).
.Experience with composite meshing, CFD surface meshing, or hexa meshing techniques.
.Familiarity with model assembly and large-scale FE models.
