Overview:
The Manager, Accreditations will support the accreditation efforts for the university, ensuring compliance with both international standards (including AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS) and liberal arts accreditation requirements. This role demands a strategic thinker with extensive experience in managing complex accreditation processes, fostering relationships with accrediting bodies, and driving continuous improvement in institutional quality and standards.
Reports to: Director - Accreditation, Ranking and Compliance
Key Responsibilities:
Accreditation Strategy & Management:
Support the university's goals in developing and implementing a comprehensive accreditation strategy.
Manage the accreditation lifecyclefrom preparation and self-study to submission, site visits, and follow-up actions.
Process Coordination:
Coordinate with academic and administrative departments to gather required data, documentation, and evidence of compliance.
Schedule and oversee the preparation of reports and presentations for accreditation review committees and external evaluators.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Coordinate with international accreditation bodies such as AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS, as well as organizations governing liberal arts standards.
Facilitate regular communication between internal stakeholders and accrediting agencies to ensure transparency and timely updates.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Monitor regulatory changes and evolving accreditation standards, ensuring that the university remains compliant.
Assist in developing internal policies and best practices to maintain and enhance accreditation standards across programs.
Project Management:
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful and timely accreditation cycles.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience in managing international accreditations (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS) as well as liberal arts accreditation processes within a higher education setting.
Demonstrated success in leading complex, multi-departmental projects with measurable outcomes.
Strong understanding of higher education standards, quality assurance practices, and regulatory compliance.
Skills & Competencies:
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills is a must; adept at preparing detailed reports and presentations.
Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex data.
Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, build relationships, and negotiate effectively.
Adaptability: Ability to stay current with evolving accreditation standards and quickly adapt strategies as necessary.
