Company: Birla Cosmetics Private Limited Brand: LOVETC (www.lovetc.com) Department: Creative/Marketing Position Type: Full-time Location: Worli, Mumbai Position Overview: Lovetc is seeking a talented and creative Videographer/Editor to develop and produce high-quality video content for our brand. This role is central to our content strategy, requiring someone who can conceptualize, shoot, and edit compelling visual stories that showcase our products and resonate with our target audience. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and artistic vision to create content that elevates the Lovetc brand. Key Responsibilities: - Video Production: Shoot and produce high-quality video content for beauty products, including tutorials, product launches, behind-the-scenes content, social media videos, and promotional campaigns - Editing & Post-Production: Edit raw footage using professional editing software; manage colour grading, sound design, and visual effects to create polished, brand-aligned content - Brand Consistency: Ensure all video content maintains Lovetc’s visual identity, aesthetic standards, and brand guidelines - Concept Development: Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop video concepts, treatments, and shot lists - Creative Direction: Contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance creative output and stay current with trending formats and styles in beauty content - Asset Management: Organize, archive, and manage video assets and production files efficiently - Timeline Management: Meet project deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality - Stakeholder Collaboration: Work effectively with internal teams including marketing, product, and management to understand project requirements and deliver results Required Qualifications - Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in videography and video editing, with demonstrated expertise in shooting and editing for beauty brands - Technical Skills: Proficiency with professional video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar), cinematography equipment, and post-production workflows - Portfolio: Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality beauty brand video content, creative storytelling, and technical proficiency - Aesthetic Sensibility: Excellent eye for composition, colour grading, lighting, and visual aesthetics specific to the beauty industry - Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities; ability to articulate creative ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - Knowledge -Must have interest and knowledge in using AI for creation and enhancement of creative Preferred Qualifications - Education: Degree or certification from a reputable photography or film school (e.g., National Institute of Design, International Institute of Film and Television, Whistling Woods International, or similar) - Professional Experience: Prior internship or apprenticeship with a professional photographer or filmmaker - Beauty Industry Background: Previous experience working with beauty, cosmetics, or luxury brands - Software Proficiency: Experience with motion graphics, VFX software (After Effects), or drone photography/videography - Social Media Content: Experience creating short-form content optimized for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms - Leadership: Experience mentoring junior creatives or leading video production teams - Software- Knowledge of CGI & 3D modelling will be a bonus Core Competencies - Creativity & Artistic Vision: Ability to create visually stunning, brand-aligned content that tells compelling stories - Technical Proficiency: Expertise in both shooting and post-production workflows - Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to colour grading, audio, pacing, and visual consistency - Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find creative solutions under constraints - Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills with ability to take feedback and integrate it constructively - Time Management: Efficient project management and ability to handle multiple deadlines - Adaptability: Willingness to learn new tools and techniques while staying current with industry trends Work Environment & Requirements - Full-time position based on-site - Proficiency in English (written and verbal) - Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environment - Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours for content shoots - Must have access to and be comfortable using professional videography and editing equipment and software Requirement - Resume/CV highlighting relevant experience - Portfolio or demo reel (link to online portfolio, YouTube channel, Instagram, or video attachments) Note: Portfolio review is a critical part of the selection process.
