Job Description Job Description Design & Technical Specification Engineer Role Overview - We are seeking a technically skilled engineer who can handle both design (2D/3D) and technical documentation. The candidate will play a key role in creating designs, calculating heat loads, and developing technical specifications to support our product development and client projects. Key Responsibilities - Create and modify 2D/3D designs of cold chain equipment, containers, and related solutions using CAD software. - Perform heat load calculations and recommend appropriate refrigeration/insulation specifications. - Draft, review, and update technical specifications, drawings, and BOMs. - Collaborate with sales, operations, and procurement teams to align designs with project requirements. - Prepare technical datasheets, compliance documents, and customer proposals. - Ensure all designs meet industry standards, certifications (ISO, ASHRAE, etc.), and safety requirements. - Support R&D for customized cold chain solutions. Qualifications & Skills - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related field. - 25 years of experience in design and technical documentation (cold chain, refrigeration, or HVAC preferred). - Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar 2D/3D design software. - Strong knowledge of heat load calculations, refrigeration cycles, and insulation materials. - Experience in preparing technical drawings, BOMs, and specification sheets. - Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
