We’re looking for a Spot Buy Specialist to join our team and play a key role in sourcing and procuring goods and services on short notice, ensuring our business runs smoothly and efficiently. What you’ll do: - Partner with internal stakeholders to understand urgent procurement needs. - Identify potential suppliers and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. - Execute spot-buy purchases following company policies. - Review quotes, manage supplier relationships, and resolve issues. - Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the spot-buy process. - Stay updated on market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry best practices. What we’re looking for: - Bachelor’s degree. - 2–3+ years of procurement experience, with a focus on spot-buy/indirect procurement. - Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, or Ariba.
