Job Description

Responsibilities:

The Architect will assist project teams of architects and designers to create world class design on Aviation and CommercialProjects from concept design through completion of construction:

- Assist project teams and work on a variety of design projects from conceptual design through construction administration.
- Develop, modify, and review construction drawings and specifications for above listed facilities.
- Assist in the development of interiors based on client vision and architectural needs and requirements that are set forth by the project managers.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, codes, and procedures within the architecture industry.
- Guide the 3D visualization team in developing concepts and final architectural rendering.
- Build effective relationships with existing clients, customers, and contractors to help develop new business opportunities.
- A committed team player able to work on own initiative and ability to self-check and produce accurate work.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in architecture from an accredited program is required.
- A range of 5 yearsof relevant experience.
- Basic understanding of IBC Codes, ADA Standards and Life safety standards
- Experience in Commercial, Industrial and Warehouse, Aviation & Hangar facilities are preferred.
- Ability to work across disciplines to develop a coordinated design package.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
- Strong experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Professional Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is necessary.
