Assistant Store Manager

Key Responsibilities Store Operations Assisting with daily opening and closing procedures managing cash handling and ensuring the store is clean organized and compliant with health and safety regulations Staff Management and Leadership Supervising training and motivating employees to ensure high performance and a positive work environment This includes creating staff schedules conducting performance reviews and assisting with the recruitment and hiring process Customer Service Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction handling customer inquiries and complaints professionally and leading by example on the sales floor Sales and Profitability Monitoring sales performance and key performance indicators KPIs analyzing sales data and collaborating on strategies and promotional activities to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability Inventory Management and Merchandising Managing inventory levels placing orders overseeing stock replenishment minimizing shrinkage loss prevention and ensuring visual merchandising standards are met to attract customers Administration and Reporting Preparing detailed reports on sales inventory and staff performance and managing administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations Essential Skills and Qualifications Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities A customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities Familiarity with Point-of-Sale POS systems and retail management software Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Work Location In person
