Job Title Store Assistant Job Summary The Store Assistant will support the Store Officer in managing day-to-day store operations including material receipt storage issuance and documentation This role involves assisting in inventory control maintaining stock records and ensuring smooth coordination with procurement and project teams The ideal candidate should be organized attentive to detail and capable of handling physical and documentation tasks efficiently Key Responsibilities Material Handling Assist in receiving unloading and verifying incoming materials against purchase orders or delivery challans Report any discrepancies or damages to the Store Officer immediately Inventory Management Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials Support in maintaining stock registers bin cards and daily material logs Help in conducting regular stock verifications and audits Material Issuance Issue materials to departments or project sites based on approved requisitions Ensure proper documentation for every issue and return transaction Documentation Record Keeping Assist in preparing Goods Receipt Notes GRN material issue slips and return notes Maintain proper filing of invoices delivery notes and purchase documents under the guidance of the Store Officer Coordination Coordinate with the purchase and accounts departments regarding stock requirements delivery updates and documentation support Communicate effectively with the project team to ensure timely material availability Housekeeping Safety Ensure the store area is organized clean and complies with safety standards Follow proper labeling stacking and material handling procedures Support Functions Assist the Store Officer in procurement follow-ups and stock reporting Help in preparing daily and weekly store activity reports Requirements Education Any Diploma or Bachelor s Degree preferred in Commerce or relevant field Experience Minimum 1 year of experience in store operations or material handling experience in manufacturing or marine industry preferred Technical Skills Basic knowledge of inventory management and store procedures Familiarity with MS Excel and record-keeping practices Knowledge of Tally will be an added advantage Salary Range 15 000 - 18 000 per month based on experience and qualifications Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 18 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Leave encashment Paid sick time Paid time off Application Question s What is your current salary What is your expected salary What is your notice period Work Location In person
