Job Title: PHP Laravel Developer (34 Years Experience)

Location: Ghatkopar (West)

- About the Role

We are seeking an experienced PHP Laravel Developer with 34 years of experience who can contribute to a real-time, API-driven backend system. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Laravel (MVC pattern), API development, JSON-based data workflows, and server-side scripting. Youll be working on an application that interacts with mobile devices and a Python-based real-time communication layer via Socket.IO.

The role requires not just technical execution, but also involvement in requirement understanding, task management, mentoring juniors, and collaborating with multiple teams including mobile and Python backend developers.

- Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Laravel (MVC architecture).
- Handle socket-based communication between PHP and Python using file-based JSON workflows.
- Write efficient scripts to generate and manage structured JSON data.
- Collaborate with mobile development teams to ensure seamless API integration.
- Understand and manage tasks assigned via Jira or received directly from clients.
- Work on a dedicated file storage server and application server setup.
- Follow Git-based version control for codebase management and reviews.
- Perform code reviews and guide junior developers with best practices.
- Participate in requirement discussions, estimation, and technical planning.
- Document APIs, workflows, and reusable components.

- Must-Have Skills
- 34 years of hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel framework.
- Strong understanding of MVC architecture and Laravel ecosystem.
- Experience in working with REST APIs and JSON data structures.
- Good knowledge of file handling, JSON creation, and script automation in PHP.
- Familiarity with Socket.IO communication via intermediary files or queues.
- Proficient in Git for code versioning and branching strategies.
- Comfortable with Linux-based deployment environments.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar tools for task tracking and status updates.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to mentor junior developers and perform technical training.
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.

- Good to Have
- Exposure to Python and understanding of socket-based communication.
- Experience with Linux servers, file system management, and nginx/apache.
- Knowledge of cloud storage solutions, remote servers, and DevOps basics.
- Prior experience in working with mobile backend systems is a plus.
