LAMP Stack Engineer (Laravel / PHP / MySQL)

We're looking for a skilled and experienced LAMP Stack Engineer to join our fast-paced team and help evolve our core platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel, PHP (7+ / 8+), and MySQL.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-impact features.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
  • Optimize complex SQL queries and database schemas for performance and data integrity.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, including payment gateways, external databases, and AI models (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) to power advanced features like intelligent search and content generation.
  • Deploy and manage applications on AWS services, such as EC2 (servers) and S3 (static assets).
  • Ensure application security, uptime, and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Laravel and full-stack web application development.
  • Expert-level knowledge of PHP, Laravel (or CodeIgniter), and MySQL, with strong SQL optimization skills.
  • Solid front-end experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Proven experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with AI APIs (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini).
  • Proficient with Git and version control workflows.
  • Comfortable with Linux environments and command-line tools.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills — this will be a key focus of the interview.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
