Job Title Network Assistant Location Assam University Assam Employment Type Contractual Payroll of Brain Crowd Software Pvt Ltd Reporting To IT Network Administrator Assam University Job Summary The Network Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance monitoring and support of the university s network infrastructure The position involves regular troubleshooting system checks network configuration and basic technical support to ensure smooth internet and intranet services across campus Key Responsibilities Assist in configuring maintaining and troubleshooting LAN WAN networks Monitor network performance and usage to ensure efficient and secure operations Support the installation and maintenance of routers switches access points and other network devices Collaborate with IT staff to provide user support for network-related issues Maintain documentation for network configurations maintenance schedules and technical processes Assist with cybersecurity measures such as firewalls and antivirus updates Perform routine checks to ensure uptime and connectivity across university departments Report network issues to senior IT staff and follow up on resolutions Required Skills Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Computer Science IT or a related field Basic knowledge of networking concepts IP addressing subnets DHCP DNS etc Familiarity with Cisco or similar networking hardware Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively Strong communication and team collaboration skills Previous experience in academic or enterprise network support is a plus Salary Benefits Salary As per the norms set by Brain Crowd Software Pvt Ltd Other benefits may include travel allowance on-site support allowance or certification assistance if applicable Employment Terms This position is contractual and under third-party payroll Brain Crowd Software Pvt Ltd Job Types Permanent Fresher Pay 8 086 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Supplemental Pay Performance bonus Yearly bonus Work Location In person
