DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with proven expertise in managing VPS servers and virtual machines, version control with Git/GitLab, and deploying applications on GCP & AWS. You will play a key role in building and maintaining our infrastructure, ensuring smooth CI/CD workflows, and optimizing system performance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain VPS servers & virtual machines (setup, configuration, monitoring, backups).

Set up, maintain, and optimize Git & GitLab repositories, including branching strategies and merge pipelines.

Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient code integration and deployment.

Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.

Ensure security hardening of servers, applications, and cloud resources.

Monitor system health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Cloud Monitoring.

Troubleshoot production issues and provide on-call support when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Linux/Unix server administration.

Proven expertise with VPS/VM environments (DigitalOcean, Linode, AWS EC2, GCP Compute Engine, etc.).

Advanced knowledge of Git & GitLab (repository management, CI/CD pipelines).

Experience with cloud services in both GCP and AWS.

Proficiency with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes preferred).

Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for infrastructure automation.

Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.

Good understanding of networking, DNS, SSL, and load balancing.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with multi-cloud deployments.

Familiarity with DevSecOps practices.

Hands-on with serverless functions (AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions).

Knowledge of cost optimization strategies for cloud and VPS environments.e
