Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with Python Scripting Developer with a strong background in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Jenkins, Git, Python scripting, and cloud technologies to enhance our banking client's infrastructure, automate deployments, and ensure high availability of applications.

Must-Have Skills :

- 8+ years of experience in DevOps,

- Expertise in Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.

- Hands-on experience with Python scripting for automation and tooling.

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

- Experience in application support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code & Certifications :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

- Certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), or Jenkins are a plus.

Key Responsibilities :

DevOps & CI/CD Implementation :

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and other DevOps tools.

- Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve efficiency.

- Work closely with development and operations teams to streamline as Code (IaC) & Cloud :

- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

- Optimize cloud resources for cost, performance, and scalability.

Python Scripting & Automation :

- Develop Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and system integrations.

- Enhance existing automation frameworks for deployment and configuration management.

Security & Compliance :

- Implement security best practices in CI/CD pipelines (vulnerability scanning, secrets management).

- Ensure compliance with banking/financial industry standards (PCI-DSS, GDPR, etc.).

Collaboration & Agile Practices :

- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning and retrospectives.

- Document processes, architecture, and deployment Skills :

- Banking/financial domain experience.

- Knowledge of microservices architecture.

- Familiarity with Datadog, New Relic, or similar monitoring tools.

- Exposure to Databases (SQL/NoSQL) and messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
