Job Description We are looking for a Tester to support the implementation of a Cash Management and Payments System, covering liquidity management, virtual accounts, corporate payments, CASA (Current Account Savings Account) solutions, and real-time payments. This hybrid role requires expertise in business analysis, requirement gathering, system testing, and UAT coordination. The ideal candidate will work closely with business teams, IT teams, and vendors to ensure that system functionalities meet business needs and comply with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Key Experience Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering: - SWIFT MT 103 - MT 202 - MT 202 COV - MT 202 Trade - MT 900 - MT 910 - Payment Book Transfer Test Planning & Strategy - Develop a test strategy and create a detailed test plan for system, integration, and UAT testing. - Work with business users and IT teams to define test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria based on business requirements. - Ensure that test cases cover functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end payment processing workflows. Test Case Development & Approval - Create detailed test cases covering various scenarios, including: - Corporate Payments (ACH, SWIFT, SEPA, RTGS, FPS, instant payments, cross-border payments) - Liquidity Management (cash pooling, sweeping, notional pooling) - Virtual Account Management (VAM) - Transaction Reconciliation & Reporting - Payment Gateway Integrations & API Transactions - Get test cases reviewed and signed off by business users and stakeholders before execution. Test Execution & Defect Management - Execute test cases as per the approved test plan and document results. - Identify, log, and track defects and issues using testing tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or equivalent. - Work with developers and IT teams to prioritize, resolve, and retest defects. - Perform root cause analysis for defects to improve system quality. UAT Coordination & Testing Run Plan - Develop a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plan, including: - Test case selection and prioritization - Defining roles and responsibilities for business users during UAT - Setting up test environments and data preparation - Coordinate with business teams to schedule and execute UAT cycles. - Provide training and guidance to business users for UAT execution. - Monitor UAT progress, consolidate feedback, and report test results. - Ensure all UAT defects are logged, tracked, and resolved before go-live. Regulatory & Compliance Testing - Ensure that the system meets compliance requirements for AML, KYC, PSD2, PCI DSS, and Open Banking standards. - Validate ISO 20022-based payment messaging and regulatory reporting functionalities. - Conduct security testing to identify potential vulnerabilities in payments processing. Post-Implementation Support - Monitor system performance post-go-live and validate real-time transactions. - Work with business teams to address post-implementation issues and enhancements. - Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to operations teams. Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field. - 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Tester in Banking, Payments, or Cash Management projects. - Strong knowledge of corporate cash management solutions, including: - Liquidity Management (cash pooling, sweeping, notional pooling) - Virtual Account Management (VAM) - Corporate Payments (ACH, SWIFT, SEPA, RTGS, FPS, instant payments, cross-border payments) - CASA (Current Account Savings Account) structures - Experience with banking payment systems such as Oracle systems Finastra, , FIS, Fiserv, or similar platforms. - Hands-on experience with payment gateways, SWIFT, ISO 20022 messaging, and Open Banking APIs. - Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for payments and banking transactions. - Experience in testing tools like Azure Dev ops, JIRA, HP ALM, Selenium, Postman (for API testing), or equivalent. - Knowledge of SQL queries for data validation is a plus. - Certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP) or Testing (ISTQB) are a plus.
