Job Role: Guidewire Tester Location: Chennai/Coimbatore Experience:-4 -9Years Face to face interview-Nov 8th Immediate joiners preferred Job Description: Key Responsibilities - Requirement Analysis: Review and analyze complex insurance business and technical requirements, specifications, and design documents to create a detailed Test Plan and effective test cases. - Test Design & Execution: - Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases, scripts, and procedures for Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter). - Perform various types of testing, including Functional, System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression, End-to-End, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support. - Validate configuration and customization changes within the Guidewire system. - Data Management: Create, manage, and maintain necessary test data to cover various business scenarios, including different policy types, claims scenarios, and billing cycles. - Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM). Work closely with developers to ensure timely and effective resolution. - Integration Testing: Test integrations between the Guidewire application and external systems (e.g., rating engines, third-party services, legacy systems) via APIs/Web Services (REST/SOAP). - Reporting: Analyze test results, prepare and present test summary reports, and communicate QA status to project stakeholders. - Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Guidewire Configuration/Integration Specialists, and Project Managers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), often following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
