Job Title: Finance Executive

Department: Finance & Accounts

Location: Mumbai

Reports To: Finance Manager / Head of Accounts

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Compliance

- Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns and TDS payments.
- Assist in preparation of statutory compliance reports and audits.

2. Vendor & Payment Management

- Process purchase orders (POs) and track vendor invoices.
- Ensure timely payments to vendors and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Follow up with vendors and internal teams for any pending clarifications.

3. Reconciliations & Project Costing

- Perform internal and external reconciliation of cost sheets for events and projects.
- Cross-check budgets, expenses, and revenues to ensure financial accuracy for each project.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve discrepancies.

4. Expense & Billing Verification

- Verify supporting documents for all expenses and billing related to events and projects.
- Ensure proper approvals and documentation are in place before processing payments.
- Maintain accurate records for audits and management reviews.

5. Employee Reimbursements

- Process and verify employee expense reimbursement claims in line with company policy.
- Keep updated records to facilitate smooth audits and internal checks.

6. Reporting & Coordination

- Prepare monthly and project-wise financial reports for management.
- Work closely with internal teams to improve financial workflows and reporting efficiency.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in events, projects, or service industries.
- Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
