Company Description Gerresheimer is an innovative systems and solutions provider and a global partner for the pharma biotech and cosmetic industries The Group offers a comprehensive portfolio of drug containment solutions including closures and accessories as well as drug delivery systems medical devices and solutions for the health industry The product range includes digital solutions for therapy support medication pumps syringes pens auto-injectors and inhalers as well as vials cartridges ampoules tablet containers infusion dropper and syrup bottles and more Gerresheimer ensures the safe delivery and reliable administration of drugs to the patient Gerresheimer supports its customers with comprehensive services along the value chain and in addressing the growing demand for enhanced sustainability With over 40 production sites in 16 countries in Europe America and Asia Gerresheimer has a global presence and produces locally for regional markets The Group generated revenues of around EUR2bn in 2023 and currently employs around 13 400 people Gerresheimer AG is listed in the MDAX on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange ISIN DE000A0LD6E6 Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure all packaging machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life Oversee troubleshooting repair and servicing of all equipment within the facility Supervise mentor and train the maintenance team promoting continuous improvement and professional development Conduct performance evaluations set goals and provide regular feedback to team members Prepare and manage the maintenance department s budget controlling costs while maintaining high performance standards Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or quality Plan and execute maintenance projects including equipment upgrades installations and relocations Coordinate with other departments vendors and contractors to ensure timely and efficient project completion Ensure all maintenance activities and records comply with regulatory standards Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance work including logs manuals and repair records Oversee the entire maintenance department ensuring efficient operation and high performance Develop long-term maintenance strategies aligned with the company s goals and objectives Ensure all maintenance activities comply with regulatory standards including GMP FDA and industry-specific guidelines Promote and maintain a safe working environment adhering to safety policies and procedures Act as a key decision-maker in maintenance-related issues and strategy development Implement innovative solutions to enhance maintenance processes and improve equipment reliability Qualifications Graduate in Engineering Additional Information Atleast 20 Years of Experience in Tubular Glass Manufacturing Industry Minimum 20 years of experience in Maintenance Strong exposure to end-to-end Maintenance functions including Mechanical Electrical Utility Instrumentation PLC HMI Programming and Inspection Systems Prior experience in MNC organizations is preferred
